FOR
USE ON ICE:
 |
No Sanding Required! |
 |
Magnesium Chloride melts ice anywhere without
a sandy mess |
 | Safe for use on Parking Lots and
Sidewalks. Ice Slicer® and FreezGard® are environmentally friendly
and do not chemically attack concrete surfaces. |
Ice Slicer®
 |
Ice Slicer® provides immediate traction while it works to
melt the ice. The material dissolves slowly and stays on the roadway
or walkway longer to help prevent freezing of new snow or ice. It also
has the ability to penetrate ice quickly and deeply. |
 |
Ice Slicer® can be applied with a spreader or by hand
broadcasting. |

FreezGard®
 |
FreezGard® is a liquid magnesium chloride with a corrosion
control polymer added. This material is sprayed on the surface and is
effective at temperatures down to -5°F. As a liquid, it begins
melting immediately on contact to penetrate the ice and packed snow.
It also breaks the ice-pavement bond. |
 |
Can be applied with a fertilizer sprayer on sidewalks. |

FOR
USE WITH DUST:
 |
Billowing dust clouds behind equipment
and vehicles on your unpaved roads mean those roads are being eaten alive! |
 |
The fine dust particles hold the
larger pieces of rock together to form a roadway or parking lot. With
every dust cloud, solid compaction is lost. Washboarding, potholes,
mud, ruts, and erosion are serious problems indicated by dust. |
Why Should I Control Dust?
 |
It reduces the need for blading, watering,
and gravel replacement. |
 |
Reduces vehicle maintenance by lowering the
levels of dust that clog filters, bearings, and machinery. |
 |
Prevents costly soil erosion caused by
destructive wind conditions. |
 |
You'll save significant savings on labor and
maintenance costs once the Magnesium Chloride is applied. |
 |
With the absence of dust, engines will be
clean-running, hence requiring less service. This will, in turn, save
on equipment and money in the long run. |
How Long Will it Last?
 |
Basic application of Magnesium Chloride at a
recommended rate of .5 gallons / square yard, usually provides control and stabilization
for six to twelve months without re-application. |
 |
Once locked in, it stays put and its highly
compacted surface helps to shed rainwater. That unique reaction
stabilizes dirt surfaces, which in turn suppresses dust. The result is
a hard-packed, dust-free gravel road. |
How Does it Work?
 |
Magnesium Chloride continuously absorbs
moisture from the atmosphere and literally traps and locks it in surface
gravel or soil material. |
 |
The material goes down easily and is a
non-toxic, non-flammable liquid that is safe for humans and the
environment. In addition, it is resistant to leaching and washout. |
 |
Magnesium Chloride helps to reduce road
equipment operating costs by keeping gravel roads and parking lots free of
excessive dust. |
